Bleasdale Heritage Centre has a wide collection of local history focusing on life in Bleasdale and its surrounding area from the mid-nineteenth century to the present day. There is a detailed section covering World War 1, which was financed from the Heritage Lottery Fund World War 1 project, entitled "The Countryside at War - Bleasdale Remembers". This includes a wide collection of World War 1 information, biographies of those who died, those who returned and a variety of photographs showing life on the Bleasdale Homefront.

A small group of interested people have extended the collection of our local history over the last few years so please come along to browse, research, or investigate your family history on one of our Bleasdale Heritage Open Afternoons.

Bleasdale Heritage Open Afternoons are held on some Sundays from 2pm to 4pm

The FELLSIDE FOCUS, which is the magazine of the Fellside Team Ministry serving the parishes of Barton, Bilsborrow, Bleasdale, Goosnargh and Whitechapel, and is available in all these churches. Also, FOCUS MAGAZINE, sometimes known as 'THE GREEN BOOK'.

Homemade cakes and tea/coffee are available for a small charge.
